Art direction and set design
We build the world around the characters: sets, props and details that create the mood of the frame.
We design and build miniature spaces for filming: rooms, streets, vehicles, household objects and any imaginary worlds. It matters that every object in the frame works for the story and does not break the style of the project.
We develop the composition of the frame and the project’s visual language together with you or your team.
We build sets at the right scale: from a small table to an entire city.
We think through how objects will interact with the puppets and the camera.
We follow the brand’s aesthetic or the director’s concept while keeping a hand-made, tactile feel.
How we work on a project
Step 1
We collect references and discuss the visual style and key scenes.
Step 2
We make a layout of the set and rough storyboards for the shoot.
Step 3
We make sets and props, agreeing the intermediate stages with you.
Step 4
We prepare the set for filming: placing objects, testing shots and light.
